We have been working weddings across the Tricity since 2012 — first with cameras, and now with the tent and the kitchen as well. Same office in Sector 5, Panchkula, same phone number, same people. One point of contact from the first quote to the clearing after the function.
Tent, shamiana, stage, lighting, seating and full catering, handled together. That is the point of booking both from one place: the kitchen is planned around the tent layout, and one generator is sized for the whole load. Vegetarian plates run ₹300 – ₹2,000, non-vegetarian ₹350 – ₹2,000, tent ₹250 – ₹2,000 a day — itemised in writing before anything is booked.

Direct answer: we do tent, shamiana, stage, lighting, seating and full catering for weddings and functions across Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali. Vegetarian plates run ₹300 – ₹2,000 and non-vegetarian ₹350 – ₹2,000, depending on the menu. Tent, stage and lighting run ₹250 – ₹2,000 a day. We take functions from 50 to 2,000 guests, and there is no travel charge inside the Tricity. Call +91 8930997002 with your date and guest count for a written quote.
Most people booking a tent are booking two things at once — the structure and the food. Handling both from one place is the whole point: the kitchen knows how far it is from the serving counters, and the tent team knows where the buffet has to stand. When those are two different contractors, that gap is where the evening goes wrong.
We work out of Sector 5, Panchkula, and have been covering weddings across the Tricity since 2012 — first with cameras, now with the tent and kitchen as well.
| Item | Rate |
|---|---|
| Vegetarian, per plate | ₹300 – ₹2,000 |
| Non-vegetarian, per plate | ₹350 – ₹2,000 |
| Tent, stage and lighting, per day | ₹250 – ₹2,000 |
| Guests we cater for | 50 – 2,000 |
| Generator and power backup | Quoted with the load |
| Travel inside the Tricity | No separate charge |
Three things decide the number: how many people, what is on the menu, and how much has to be built at the venue. A simple shamiana for 100 and a built stage with full lighting for 800 are different jobs, and the price says so. Tell us those three and you get an itemised quote, in writing, before anything is booked.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Call | Date, venue and rough guest count — we tell you straight away if the date is free |
| 2. Site visit | We see the ground — its size, the entry width, where power and water are |
| 3. Menu | You pick the menu; we tell you honestly what travels well and what does not |
| 4. Written quote | Itemised. Nothing is added later that is not on it |
| 5. Setup | Tent goes up a day before, never on the morning of the function |
| 6. On the day | Kitchen and service crew on site; one person you can call all evening |
| 7. After | Clearing and removal — the ground is left as we found it |
Most families book the tent from one place and the food from another. It works, and sometimes it is cheaper. Here is the honest difference.
| Tent and catering together | Two separate contractors | |
|---|---|---|
| Kitchen placement | Planned with the tent layout | Worked out on the day |
| Power load | One generator sized for both | Each assumes the other arranged it |
| If something is late | One person answers for it | Each points at the other |
| Guest count changes | Told once | Told twice, and one of them forgets |
| Cost | One quote, itemised | Can be lower, if both quote honestly |
Shamiana over the courtyard, a small stage, string lighting, round tables for eighty at a time with two sittings, a vegetarian buffet and one live chaat counter. Tent up the previous afternoon, kitchen on site from the morning. The thing that decides this job is the entry width — if the truck cannot get in, the frame gets carried, and that changes the timing for everything after it.
No tent needed, so it is catering only: vegetarian and non-vegetarian counters kept separate, a tandoor counter, and the sweets counter at the far end so its queue does not block the buffet. Here the work is in the service crew count, not the structure.
Open ground, so everything is built: hangar, flooring over uneven earth, full lighting, generator, and a field kitchen. This is the kind of job where the site visit matters most, because the ground decides half the plan.
Sandeep Photography & Events, working out of SCO 88, Sector 5, Panchkula since 2012. We have covered over 500 weddings across Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali on the photography side, and the tent and catering work runs from the same office and the same phone number. One point of contact from the first quote to the clearing after.
Our photography work carries a 4.9 rating from 148+ Google reviews — you can read what those clients wrote. Tent and catering is our newer line, so it does not have its own review history yet. We would rather say that than borrow the photography reviews and present them as something they are not.

Twenty things people actually ask on the phone — answered the way we would answer them.
Vegetarian plates run ₹300 to ₹2,000 and non-vegetarian ₹350 to ₹2,000, depending on the menu. Tent, stage and lighting run ₹250 to ₹2,000 a day, by how much has to be built. We take functions from 50 to 2,000 guests. You get the exact number itemised in writing before anything is booked.
No. Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali are one working area for us, so there is no travel charge anywhere inside the Tricity.
Yes, either on its own. Most people take both because it is one team and one point of contact, but there is no rule about it.
A day before the function. Putting a structure up on the morning of the event is how things end up half-finished when the first guests arrive.
Tell us as early as you can and we cook for the higher number. Kitchens plan in batches, so a change two days before is manageable and a change two hours before is not. We would rather say that plainly than promise it and run short.
For the wedding season, October to February, three to four months ahead. Off-season, three to four weeks is usually enough. Call with a date and we will tell you straight away whether it is free.
Yes. The generator is sized to the actual load of the lighting, kitchen and sound, not to whatever is cheapest. An undersized generator is the most common reason lights go out in the middle of a function.
German hangar for large open-ground functions, traditional shamiana for home and courtyard events, and open frames with side walls for anything in between. The size is worked out from your guest count and the ground, not picked from a fixed list.
Yes. Chairs, round tables, sofa sets and VIP seating, plus the covers. Seating is planned around how many people eat at one time, which is often less than the total guest count when there are two sittings.
Yes, and this is where the site visit matters most. Uneven earth needs flooring under the seating and the buffet, otherwise tables rock and the queue turns awkward. We check the ground before quoting so that cost is in the quote, not added later.
Yes. Stage, backdrop, mandap and the floral work, built to the size of the function. A stage that is right for 200 guests looks lost in front of 800, so it is measured, not standard.
Entrance lighting, pathway lights, stage wash and the string work overhead. If there is photography or video, we place the light so the room reads well on camera as well as to the eye.
Yes. You pick the menu and we tell you honestly what holds up over a long evening and what does not. Some dishes are excellent fresh and poor an hour later, and it is better to hear that before the function than after.
Yes. Separate counters, separate serving staff and separate utensils. If the function is pure vegetarian, the whole kitchen runs that way.
Yes. Chaat, tandoor, pasta, dosa and a sweets counter are the common ones. The sweets counter is usually placed away from the main buffet so its queue does not block everything else.
It depends on the guest count and whether it is buffet or plated. Cooks, servers and cleaning staff are quoted as their own line so you can see what you are paying for, and someone stays until the last plate is cleared.
Yes. The tent, seating, kitchen and rubbish are removed and the ground is left as we found it. Clearing is part of the quote, not an extra you discover the next morning.
An advance holds your date, and the balance is due as agreed in the written quote. The amounts and the dates are on that quote before you pay anything, and they do not move afterwards.
Side walls go up and the kitchen and buffet move under cover. For an open-ground function in the monsoon we plan the covered area larger than the guest count needs, because that decision cannot be made on the day.
Yes, we work through the winter season, which is when most Tricity weddings happen. Heaters are quoted with the tent rather than remembered at the last minute, the same way fans and coolers are in summer.
